According to senior ACB officers, one Pappu Sharma, 50-year-old woman who was member of an NGO, approached the ACB with a complaint against Dr Pradeep Bishnoi. She told the ACB that under the government’s Kaleva Scheme, her organization had provided food to pregnant women who delivered babies at the CHC.

When the woman approached Dr Pradeep for release of payment amounting to Rs 85,000, he demanded 25% of the amount as his commission, officials said.
