Jaipur’s Oberoi Rajvilas ranked 13th among the ‘best hotels’ in the world

Jaipur: Jaipur’s Oberoi Rajvilas has been ranked among the best 25 hotels in the world. TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards 2019 has ranked the hotel at number 13 in the World and fifth in Asia. It has also been ranked at number 7 in the category of luxury hotels and number 21 in the best service category.
Tulemar Bungalows & Villas of Costa Rica ranked number one in the global list followed by Italy’s Hotel Belvedere and Cambodia’s Viroth’s Hotel.
Four hotels of India made it to the list of 25 top hotels of the world in the Tripadvisor survey.
Evolve Back, Coorg (Karnataka) secured at 14th place in Asia. The Oberoi Amarvilas of Agra secured 19th rank followed by Trivik Hotels and Resorts of Karnataka (20th position).
Rajasthan bagged the maximum number of awards in different categories among the Indian states. Rajasthan received 64 awards followed by Kerala which received 47 awards. Karnataka received a total of 31 awards.
TripAdvisor organized their 17th edition of Travellers’ Choice Awards 2019 and recognized a total of 7,812 properties in 94 countries and eight regions worldwide.
The categories in which the awards were given included top hotels overall, luxury, bargain, small-level, best service, inns and B&B’s, romance, family and all-inclusive.
Travellers’ Choice award winners were determined based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected from TripAdvisor travellers worldwide.
The first position at Asia level has been secured by Cambodia’s Viroth’s Hotel followed by Kenting Amanda Hotel of Taiwan. Vietnam’s Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa was ranked third while Cambodia’s Golden Temple Retreat secured the fourth place.
