Jaipur: The Vintage Car Exhibition and Drive – 2020 will be organized by Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club in the city on February 22 and 23. The vintage car owners from various parts of the country display vintage cars during the event. The organizers said that over 100 vintage cars will participate in the event being organized at Hotel Jai Mahal Palace.
The cars will be in three categories. The cars from 30s or before will participate in Vintage Cars category, the cars from 40s and 50s in Classic Cars Category and the cars from 60s and 70s will be in Modern Classic Categories. Last a few cars from 20s and 30s were big attractions of the event.
The exhibition is organized every year. The cars from Mumbai, Gurugram, different parts of Rajasthan and other places participate in the event. The organizers said that there will be new participants from Delhi and some other cities also this year.
Anyone who owns a vintage car can participate in the event by filling out a form that can be obtained from the club’s office situated on MI Road. The participants can also request for forms via email.
“The registration fee is Rs 2,000. About 25 cars have already been registered for the event,” said an organizer.
