Jaipur: Jaipur will host the upcoming 12th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) auction on December 18, as per the sources.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has changed the timings of the auction and made it a day-night affair. It will get the primetime viewership on the television. The auction will start from 3 pm and will end at 9:30 pm. Date and venue of IPL 2019 are not decided yet.
According to IPL officials, if the dates of the election in India will clash with those of the Indian Premier League, then the tournament will be held outside the country, probably in South Africa or Dubai.

The final list of players for the next season of Indian Premier League will be circulated to the designators in the first week of December.
