Jaipur airport ranked number 12 in terms of passenger footfall in India

According to a recent report, Jaipur received around four lakh passengers in November and was the 12th most crowded airport of India.

Jaipur: Jaipur international airport has been ranked as the top 12 airports of the country in terms of passenger footfall in November.

According to a recent report, Jaipur received around four lakh passengers in November and was the 12th most crowded airport of India.

As per airport authorities, several new flights from Jaipur to other cities were introduced this year, due to which a hike in passengers at Jaipur airport was reported.

However, Jaipur was ranked at number one position two times in past for its passengers capacity.

Introduction of new flights from Jaipur and the hike in passengers at Jaipur airport is continuously increasing. Jaipur airport usually gets a lot of traffic during the winter season and year-end.

Night flights were also introduced from December 15 as number of tourists coming to Jaipur is on the rise.

More than 48000 foreign passengers used Jaipur airport in November. The airport operated 336 flights leaving behind Pune and Guwahati airports statistics, as per the reports.

  2. Mumbai: 41 lakh
  3. Bengaluru: 27 lakh
  4. Kolkata: 18 lakh
  5. Chennai:17 lakh
  6. Hyderabad: 17 lakh
  7. Ahmedabad: 9 lakh
  8. Kochin: 8 lakh
  9. Goa: 7 lakh
  10. Pune: 7 lakh
  11. Guhawati: 4 lakh
  12. Jaipur: 4 lakh
