Jaipur: Missing Judge Gajanand Sharma found in Dausa

The family members of the judge left for Dausa on Saturday after they were informed by the police.

Jaipur: Judge Gajanand Sharma, who had gone missing after he left his home at New Nyay Shikha in Gandhi Nagar on Friday has been found in Dausa, according to preliminary reports.

The family members of the judge left for Dausa after they were informed by the police. According to reports, some people recognized the judge and tipped off the cops.

The local judicial officers and police officers rushed to the place where the judge had been spotted. When his identify was confirmed, they informed the family members.

The family members had registered a missing person’s report with Bajaj Nagar police station in Jaipur on Friday.

The missing persons report has been registered by the judge’s son Kuldeep Sharma, who is an advocate. He told the police that his 59-year-old father left home without telling anyone where he was going. Everyone thought he had left home for a morning walk, but when he didn’t return home till afternoon, they got worried and started enquiring about him. They couldn’t find him on their own following which they approached the police.

As per the family members, the judge was not keeping well after he underwent surgery for a liver ailment. He was reportedly under depression.

The police are trying to find out how he reached Dausa, some 80 km from Jaipur.
