Jaipur: Man shot at on Sahkar Marg, firing creates panic
Islam, a resident of Bapu Bazaar, owns a bike repairing shop near JP Nagar Underpass on Sahkar Marg. He told the police that one Fareed, a resident of Khajane Walon Ka Rasta near Chandpole, came to his shop along with a friend on a bike.

Jaipur: Two bike borne miscreants fired at a shopkeeper on Sahkar Marg in Jyoti Nagar police station area on Sunday. The broad daylight firing created panic among other shopkeepers, commuters and local residents. The victim, identified Islam, received a gunshot wound on his leg. The bullet pierced his right leg. He was admitted to SMS Hospital for treatment. The police have launched a search for the criminals despite the fact the duo was identified in the FIR registered by the victim.

Islam was working when Fareed started firing on him with a county made gun.
“Islam was in the shop. A bullet pierced his right leg. Some locals informed the police control room following which a team from Jyoti Nagar police station was rushed to the spot. The victim was taken to a hospital where he is undergoing treatment. His condition is out of danger,” said a police officer.
He added that a search has been launched for the two men.
