Jaipur: Man murders friend at guest house in Bhankrota, locks body in bathroom

When the guest house employees saw blood-stained footprints outside the room, they informed the police following which the gruesome murder came to light.

Jaipur: A man brutally stabbed to death his friend at a guest house in Bhankrota and escaped from the spot in the victim’s car after locking his body in the bathroom. The incident took place at Jai Guest House at Bhankrota Tiraha on Ajmer Road. When the guest house employees saw blood-stained footprints outside the room, they informed the police following which the gruesome murder came to light.

The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Hargovind, a resident of Itava in Uttar Pradesh. When a Bhankrota police team arrived at the guest house, they opened the room with the keys and found the body in the bathroom. An FSF examination of the spot was conducted.

The body was taken to a hospital for a postmortem examination. According to preliminary reports, the man was murdered with a sharp-edged weapon. Sources said evidences were gathered by the FSF team and the accused has been identified as Narendra.

According to police officials, Hargovind was with his friend Narendra and checked into the guest house on Friday evening. They were planning to take part in Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s roadshow on Saturday. They left the guest house around 4 am on Saturday and returned a couple of hours later. Guest house employees have reportedly told the police that they were quarreling so loudly over something when they were in the room that they could hear it outside the room.

Narendra left the guest house a few minutes later and when the employees saw blood stained footprint, they got suspicious and informed the police. The room was locked.
