Jaipur: The cases of stray animals killing people are happening unabated in the city. A 32-year-old man, identified as Vimal Bairwa, was killed when a bull attacked him in Bairwa Colony near Jaipur International Airport in Sanganer area. The man had been attacked by a bull on Monday evening. He was admitted to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries on Friday.

This is the second case of stray animals attacking pedestrians in the city within the past 22 days. A woman, Rajani, sustained injuries in a bull attack. She is still battling for life at a hospital.

Vimal is survived by two children and his wife. He was returning home after work when a bull attacked him. He was rushed to a hospital with serious head injuries. Vimal kept lying in a pool of blood for nearly 45 minutes. The nearby residents called up the ambulance, but it didn’t reach the spot on time. He died while undergoing treatment on Friday, officials said.

In November last year, an Argentine national, identified as John Pablo, who had come to Jaipur on a tourist visa, was killed in a bull attack near Tadeshwar temple. The death of the foreign tourists embarrassed the civic authorities. The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) promised to take action. Some stray animals were captured and taken to animal shelters, but the civic body forgot about the exercise soon.
