Jaipur: Jagatpura boy Somaya Singh tops All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2019

Jaipur: Saumya Singh, a resident of Jagatpura in Jaipur, has topped the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2019, making the city proud. His father RD Gurjar has been a professor at Rajasthan University. Saumya attributed his success to the blessing of his parents and family members.
Saumya secured 93.25% marks in AILET 2019, achieving the feat of the India topper. Another student who has made it to the top 10 from Rajasthan is Harsh Sethi who has secured the third All India Rank.
Saumya comes from an academic family. While his father had been a Rajasthan University professor, his mother Seema is the head of geology department in Mohanlal Sukhadia University.
There are four girls on the top 10 list. Mariam from Kerala achieved the second All India Rank.
The test for the admission in five year integrated course of National Law University Delhi was conducted on May 5. In the first list, 52 candidates from general category, 11 from SC and 5 from ST have been selected.
