Jaipur: Doctor accuses woman of sex blackmailing

Jaipur: A doctor has registered an FIR with Jawahar Nagar police station in Jaipur accusing a woman of trying to extort money by lodging a bogus case of rape against him.
The complainant, identified as Rahul Dindori, was an MBBS student in Jaipur in 2015 when he came in contact with the woman. He alleged that the women demanded up to Rs 35 lakh and when he didn’t pay the money, she registered an FIR with Dungarpur police.
Rahul alleged that the woman befriended him on Facebook. She allegedly made physical relationship with him against his will.
She then allegedly started threatening Rahul. She first demanded Rs 20 lakh for not lodging an FIR of rape against him. When he got a job placement, she increased the demand to Rs 35 lakh.
The woman registered the FIR with Dungarpur police in December when he didn’t pay the money, he alleged. Dungarpur police sent the FIR to Jawahar Nagar police station as the crime took place under the latter’s jurisdiction.
Jawahar Nagar police station officials said that an investigation into both the FIRs was going on.
