Jaipur: An alleged email sent to the IOC with a bomb threat to its pipeline has put Jaipur police on high alert.

The cops are searching inns, hotels and other places in search of suspected terrorists, taking the threat seriously, according to preliminary reports. There were specific inputs about two terrorists staying in Jaipur to carry out the bomb threat. However, the police’s frantic search for them has not yielded any results.

The IOC reportedly received an email with a bomb threat to its pipeline passing through Jaipur district. The IOC informed the CISF which in turn forwarded the threat information to the Jaipur police.

The police have been carrying out searches at hotels and inns in the city to ascertain if the threat made against the pipelines was genuine. The security for the pipelines has also been stepped up.

The police have also alerted the intelligence bureau and ATS.
