Jaipur Airport: Summer Schedule 2020 from March 29; Air connectivity to 3 cities to be snapped

Jaipur: The Summer Schedule for flights at Jaipur Airport will come into effect from March 29. The number of flights usually increases during summer, it will decrease this year.

Jaipur Airport currently operates 63 flights. They include 56 domestic flights and seven international flights. The domestic flights connect Jaipur with 18 cities across the country. After the summer schedule comes into effect, the number of domestic flights will go down to 53. The operations of three flights will be stopped, while one new flight will be launched.

In summer 2019, there was a flight to Dharmashala from Jaipur. The flight will not be operational this summer. Similarly, the direct air connectivity to Bikaner will come to an end. The same can happen for flights connecting Jaipur with Jammu and Chandigarh.

Sources said that new flights will be launched connecting Jaipur to Chennai and Patna.

The three flights which will no long be operation include Indigo’s flight to Delhi (7.10 am – 6E-6516), SpiceJet’s flight to Mumbai (6.15 pm – SJ – 8168) and SpiceJet’s flight to Bhopal (8.45 pm – SJ 3788). The SpiceJet will likely launch a new flight to Chennai which will take off at 7.30 am daily.
