Internet ban likely in Jaipur during Rajasthan teacher recruitment exam

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has requested a net ban in 11 districts during the teacher recruitment exam, which will be held for 48,000 posts. On Friday, the Board sent a letter to the Chief Secretary requesting the ban from February 25 to March 1.
The Home Department then wrote to all Divisional Commissioners to take action as per the rules. As a result, a net ban may be enforced in 11 districts from 6 am to 6 pm on Saturday.
The Chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Hariprasad Sharma, emphasized the importance of the teacher recruitment examination and the need to prevent negligence or cheating. He expressed hope that the government will consider their request and impose the net ban to avoid any untoward incidents.
The exam will be held in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Kota, Bikaner, Tonk, Bharatpur, Alwar, Sriganganagar, and Udaipur districts, with measures in place to prevent cheating.
The exam will take place in 9 shifts from February 25 to March 1, with 9 lakh 64 thousand candidates registered. The Level 1 exam will be held in the first shift on February 25, and the Level 2 exam will take place from the second shift on the same day until March 1.
There are 2940 examination centers, and candidates must arrive in the prescribed dress code one and a half hours before the exam.
