‘Golden Triangle’ air connectivity: New Air India flights to connect Delhi-Jaipur-Agra

The inaugural flight has been scheduled for December 8.

Jaipur: Air India’s latest announcement will be a boon for the tourism industry in the region. The ‘Golden Triangle’ of Delhi-Jaipur-Agra will soon be connected with the start of Jaipur-Agra sector flights from December 8. The direct flight will be launched by Air India’s Alliance Air. The thrice-a-week flight will be operational on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. It will depart from Jaipur at 11 am and reach Agra at noon.

The inaugural flight has been scheduled for December 8, Friday, after which regular flights will be operational from December 11 Monday. The flight is being launched under UDAN scheme by Alliance Air. An ATR aircraft will be used for this sector. The return journey from Agra will start at 1.15 pm and end in Jaipur at 2.15 pm. The Jaipur-Agra minimum fare is Rs 2007 while the same for Agra-Jaipur is Rs 1680.

As far as Delhi-Jaipur connectivity is concerned, Flight AI 9687 departs from Delhi at 9.55 am and arrives in Jaipur at 10.55 am while Flight AI 9688 departs Jaipur at 1.35 pm and reached Delhi at 2.35 pm.

From December 7, new flights are also starting from Jodhpur. SpiceJet Airlines is the operator starting the flights. Inaugural flights have also started from Kishangarh Aiport. The first flight started from Udaipur on Friday. The 9-seater plane was started by a private airline and capacity will be increased in coming months as per demand. Kishangarh to Udaipur minimum fare is Rs 1754 and the flight from Udaipur reaches Kishangarh at 12.15 pm and returns to Udaipur at 12.30 pm.
