4 pilgrims returning from Khatu Shyam Ji die in accident on NH-8 near Kotputali

The deceased have been identified as Parmanand Mahajan (64), Mamchand Bharadwaj (65), Pawan Mahajan (56) and Harishchandra Mahajan, who were the resident of Gurgaon and went to visit Khatushyam Ji temple in Rajasthan.

Jaipur: Four pilgrims returning from Khatu Shyam Ji temple died in a road accident after their car collided with a truck near Kotputli in Jaipur district on Jaipur-Delhi NH-8 highway on Wednesday. They were returning home after visiting the temple and met with the accident.

The accident occurred near Kherki Mukkar. The deceased have been identified as Parmanand Mahajan (64), Mamchand Bharadwaj (65), Pawan Mahajan (56) and Harishchandra Mahajan, who were the resident of Gurgaon. They went to visit Khatushyam Ji temple in Rajasthan.

The deceased were coming back to their town. While they were, their car crashed into the truck sanctioned on the roadside. All the four family members died on the spot.

Police reached the spot soon after getting the information and pulled the bodies of the deceased out of the car. The bodies were handed over to the relatives after a postmortem examination.

According to Pawan Kumar, SHO of Paniyala police station, the accident was so intense that the car of the deceased was completely damaged from the front and all four of them died on the spot.

The police booked the truck driver for rash and negligant driving and said that the further investigation is going on.
