Flight connecting Jaisalmer with Delhi from tomorrow

Jaipur: As the tourist season in Rajasthan has commenced, a flight connecting Jaisalmer with Delhi will operate from Tuesday. The flight on this route was terminated during the off-season. Direct flights to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Surat will also be introduced to boost the tourism industry.

The flight timings to Jaipur from Jaisalmer have also been changed. The flight for Jaisalmer will depart from Jaipur at 10:35 am and will reach Jaisalmer around noon. It will depart from Jaisalmer at 12:20 pm and will arrive at Delhi Airport around 2:05 pm.

According to Jaisalmer airport administration, the number of tourists arriving in Jaisalmer have increased over the past few days and the decision to introduce direct flights connecting some big cities was taken. It will boost the tourism industry by making it easier for tourists to reach Jaisalmer.

For now, the flight to Delhi and Jaipur will be operated from Jaisalmer on Tuesday. Spice Jet airlines will soon operate flights to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Surat from Jaisalmer in coming days.

The flight to Mumbai from Kishangarh will be functional from October 29, to Ahmedabad from October 31 and to Surat from November 30.

The flight timings from Jaipur- Jaisalmer- Delhi- Jaisalmer-Jaipur.

• Jaipur- Jaisalmer: 10:35 am – 12:00
• Jaisalmer – Delhi: 12:20 pm – 2:05 pm
• Delhi- Jaisalmer: 2:40 pm – 4:25 pm
• Jaisalmer to Jaipur: 4:45 pm – 6:10 pm

The flight to Delhi from Kishangarh of Ajmer will start from Monday. It will depart from Delhi at 4:10 pm and reach Kishangarh at 5:10 pm. After the stoppage of 20 minutes at Kishangarh, the 78-seater aircraft will depart at 5:30 pm and will reach Delhi at 6:30 pm.
