Fire breaks out at garment showroom in Rajapark

Jaipur: A massive fire broke out at Sukanya garment showroom located in Lane Number – 1 of Raja Park in the wee hours of Thursday. Since there was no one in the showroom early in the morning, no loss of life was reported, however, the shop was gutted to ashes. More than a dozen fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. The officials have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of fire.
It took fire-fighters nearly two hours to control the fire. Some locals informed the fire station officials and police about the fire incident at the shop in the morning. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
According to the police, the fire was so fierce that all the merchandise was burnt to ashes. Some guards and locals first saw smoke billowing from one part of the showroom.
The primary reason for the fire is suspected to be short circuit.
Further investigation is going on.
