IAF aircraft crashes in Banar near Jodhpur, narrow escape for pilots
The pilot is safe as he ejected himself before the crash. A court of enquiry has been ordered, according to preliminary reports.

Jaipur: An aircraft of Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near Banar area in Jodhpur district on Tuesday. The aircraft was MIG-27.
No loss of life or property was reported as the plane crashed a few kilometers from the nearby residential area; however, villagers panicked when they heard several blasts and then saw the aircraft completely engulfed in flames.
There were two pilots in the aircraft. They are safe as they ejected before the crash. A court of enquiry has been ordered, according to preliminary reports.
The incident occurred near Dewaria village in Banar in Mandore tehsil in the morning.
People called up the police control room when they heard several blasts and saw flames. Police and administration officers arrived at the spot. Fire tenders were also rushed there.
People panicked when the aircraft crashed. As the news of the crash spread, a huge crowd of villagers gathered near the site.
Sources said that a court of enquiry has been ordered into the incident.
