  1. Govind Dev Ji Temple

One of the biggest, oldest and the most popular temples of Jaipur, Govind Dev Ji Mandir is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The temple is situated in the City Palace complex and attracts a number of tourists and devotees every day. The idol of Lord Krishna was brought by the Raja Sawai Jai Singh II from Vrindavan. This temple is considered among the seven temples of Lord Krishna of Vrindavan.

  1. ISKCON- Sri Sri Girdhari Dauji Temple

Locally know as Sri Sri Girdhari Dauji Temple, ISKCON is dedicated to Lord Krishna and his brother Lord Balram. The temple is run by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) also known as the Hare Krishna movement, which is a Gaudiya Vaishnava Hindu religious organization. ISKCON was founded in 1966 in New York City by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

  1. Govardhan Nath Ji Temple

The temple is located inside the Hawa Mahal complex and remains unnoticed to many as there is no sign suggesting the presence of the temple nearby. Hawa Mahal and the temple share the same entrance and exit.

Govardhan Nath Ji temple was built in 1790 under the rule of Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh simultaneously with Hawa Mahal. Lord Krishna in the temple is worshipped in his Baal Avatar (Child form)

The temple is located at Purani Basti area near Chandpole in Jaipur. It was built nearly 5000 years ago by Vajranabh, grandson of Lord Krishna. Several legends of the place will take you in the Krishna consciousness world.

Located in the heart of the city, Birla Temple is the perfect depiction of architectural beauty. The temple is made up of white marbles and showcases some of the finest architecture works. It was built by the Birla family and have idols of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi. The Geeta writings are printed in the art form on the walls of the temple.

  1. Radha Madhav Ji Temple

This famous temple is located in the Kanak Vrindavan Ghati on Jaipur-Amer road. As per the legend, it is also known as old Govind Dev Ji temple.

The beauty of this place will leave you mesmerized as it tells the stories of several incarnations of Lord Krishna and Radha. You will find some of the best marble works in here surrounded by line rows of fountains. The Ghati was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh of Jaipur around 275 years ago.

The temple is located on road connecting Nahargarh and Jaigarh Fort near Nahargarh biological park. According to the legends, the temple has footprints of Lord Krishna and his holy cows. It is said that in dwapar yug Lord Krishna took his cows to her for grazing.

Hence, the temple is famous by the name of ‘Charan temple’. You can admire the city’s panoramic view from the heights of this temple.

This Krishna temple is located in Jagatpura which is managed by a Non-profit organization named Akshaya Patra. The NGO aims to eradicate hunger and malnutrition in India by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Programme in government and government-aided schools.
