Disgruntled ex-employee arrested for making bomb hoax threat at metro station in Jaipur

The accused Nitesh Agarwal was an employee at Mansarovar metro station. He was terminated from his job due to negligence.

Jaipur: Jaipur police have arrested a man identified as Nitesh Agarwal for creating bomb hoax at Mansarovar Metro Station on Tuesday night.

The accused Nitesh Agarwal was an employee at Mansarovar metro station. He was terminated from his job due to negligence.

According to the police, the accused Nitesh wanted to take revenge and teach the metro officials and other employees a lesson, so he made the fake bomb threat call on Tuesday.

The accused called the metro officials and informed them that a bomb had been placed on the metro station premises following which the police and other security agencies including bomb disposal and dog squad reached the spot.

Police said that an FIR will be lodged against him after an interrogation.

The similar case happened at private school located at Sanganer on Monday.

According to the police, three mischievous students called up Subodh Public School’s landline number and said that they are speaking from Pakistan and a bomb has been planted in the school’s library.

The school principal informed the police control room following which the entire school was evacuated and the bomb disposal team and dog squad reached the spot. Nothing was found.

Police traced the number of the three students and took them into custody on Tuesday.
