COVID-19 deaths to cross 400 in Rajasthan; 16 more from quarantine centres test positive in Jaipur

Jaipur: COVID-19 continues to spread in the state, particularly its capital city Jaipur. The state reported 327 coronavirus cases on Sunday. Of them, 38 were reported in Jaipur. The majority of the cases are being reported from quarantine centres where people returning to the city from abroad or other states are being kept. Of the total cases, 16 were reported from quarantine centres in Jaipur.

According to the government data, the number of cases in Rajasthan has gone up to 17271, while 399 deaths had been reported till 8.30 pm on Sunday. Eight more people died of the virus infection on Sunday. The number of active cases is also increasing. It now stands at 3261.
