COVID-19 cases cross 14,000 in Rajasthan

Jaipur: There is no dip in COVID-19 cases in Rajasthan. Coronavirus continues to spread at an alarming rate with Rajasthan reporting 299 cases. With this the total number of cases has gone up to 14156. The state reported 3 more deaths, taking the total death toll to 333.

Of the total cases, Jaipur reported 33 cases. The following areas in Jaipur district reported new COVID-19 cases:

  • Choura Rasta – 1
  • Chitrakoot – 1
  • Hotel Raddisson – 1
  • Shashtri Nagar – 4
  • Chandpole – 1
  • Bas Badanpura – 7
  • Moti Dongari – 1
  • Dudu – 1
  • SMS – 1
  • Polovictory – 1
  • Shyam Nagar – 1
  • Nareda – 1
  • Jaitpura – 1
  • Ramgarh Mod – 1
  • Sri Ganesh Nagar B – 1
  • Biharipura – 1
  • Lawanghar – 1

Bharatpur reported the highest number of cases on Friday. 55 new cases were reported followed by 14 in Alwar, 12 in Barmer, 14 in Bhilwara, 26 in Bikaner, 13 in Churu, 8 in Ganganagar, 14 in Jhunjhunu, 38 in Jodhpur, 16 in Nagaur, 24 in Pali and 6 in Tonk.

There are 2826 active cases in the state. A major relief for the administration is that more people are recovering and getting discharged from hospitals on a daily basis than the number of cases being detected.
