CM Bhajanlal Sharma attends swearing-in ceremony of Bar Association Jaipur

JAIPUR: The Bar Association Jaipur held its swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected executive on Saturday. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma attended as the chief guest.

In his speech, CM Bhajanlal Sharma praised the judiciary for its important role in democracy. He highlighted the respected position of Indian judiciary globally and credited lawyers’ contribution to freedom movements and Constitution-making.

The ceremony took place at Banipark’s Sessions Court premises where High Court Acting CJ MM Srivastava, Justice Farzand Ali, and Justice Umashankar Vyas administered oaths to president Pawan Sharma, general secretary Raj Kumar Sharma, and other newly elected members.

Chief Minister Sharma said that advocates have a high status in society due to their close connection with people’s problems. He urged them to assist the courts in providing timely justice while prioritizing human values over personal interests and working for the benefit of society.

Sharma also expressed his commitment towards expanding facilities for advocates and ensuring prompt fulfillment of promises made in the resolution letter by the state government.

Civil Lines MLA Gopal Sharma, Acting Chief Justice M.M. Srivastava, District Judge Metro I Nandini Vyas, Metro II Baljit Singh, Jaipur District Rural Judge Ajit Kumar Hingar were present along with other members of The Bar Association Jaipur’s newly elected executive and advocates.
