JAIPUR: Jaipur International Airport received a bomb threat via email. The airport’s security team and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) conducted a search operation. The police were informed and an investigation is underway.

The email was sent from an ID named Don of India, threatening to blow up the airport’s landscape area with bombs. Security agencies are on high alert and three cyber teams are investigating the sender.

Passengers were mailed on the official email for feedback, but the mail came from an unknown person on Friday morning. No suspicious items were found during the 2-hour search operation conducted by BDS, CISF, and Dog Squad team.

This is not the first time Jaipur Airport has received a bomb threat; two months ago, a similar threat was made to blow up several airports including Jaipur in December. However, nothing suspicious was found during the investigation then as well.
