Bomb hoax creates panic in private school in Sanganer

Jaipur: Panic gripped Subodh Public School in Sanganer on Monday when the police control room received information that a bomb had been planted on the school premises. The entire school was vacated and searched. No bomb was found on the premises.
The fire alarm was sounded and the students were evacuated from the classes to the ground.
As soon as the information was received, Jaipur police along with security personnel from many agencies and bomb disposal and dog squads reached the spot. They declared the call a hoax after searching the premises. Nothing was found. The police are trying to trace the fake caller.
According to the police commissioner Anand Srivastav, an unidentified caller gave the information to the Subodh school’s principal in the morning, of the bomb placed in the school. The principal after receiving the call, evacuated students from the classes to the loan.
The school authorities then informed the police control room about the bomb scare.
Nothing was found and the team declared the call a hoax. Everybody was relieved after that.
The agencies are trying to track the number from which the hoax call was made.
Police suspect that some mischievous source has made the hoax call with the intention to close the school for a day and to unsettle the school management.
Police said that an FIR would be lodged and the culprits would be brought to the book.The police didn’t rule out the possibility that some former student of the school may have played a prank.
Further investigation is going on.
