Annual ‘Vintage and Classic Car Exhibition-Rally’ on Feb 16-17 at Taj Jai Mahal Palace
The collection of Vintage and classic cars will be put on display at Jai Mahal Palace on February 16 and the rally will take place on February 17.

Jaipur: The 21st edition of Jaipur’s annual ‘Vintage and Classic Car Exhibition-Rally’ will be held at Jal Mahal Palace on Saturday and Sunday. The vintage cars from different states and cities will be exhibited.
The winners will be awarded in varied categories and the work of mechanics who have restored old cars will be appreciated.
Over 100 vintage and classic cars will be put on display from different states on February 16 at Jai Mahal Palace and a rally from the palace to Kanota will be held on Sunday.
Automobiles experts Tutu Dhawan and Ashok Ghosla will be juries to rate the cars in different categories and winners will be announced.
According to the secretary of the Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club Avijit Singh Badnore, around 20 classic automobiles from Delhi will be exhibited in the rally this time. The other vintage cars from different states and cities will also be part of the event.
The opening ceremony will take place around noon on Saturday and the vintage car rally will commence from Jal Mahal Palace at 10 am on Sunday.
Vice President of RASCC Sudhir Kaasliwal said that the club has been organizing the state’s premier vintage car rally for the past two decades in association with Rajasthan Tourism Department.
The event was inaugurated in January 1996 at Khasa Khoti with only 10 vintage cars. This year more than 100 vintage and classic cars from Jaipur and other cities of Rajasthan, Delhi, Mumbai among others will be exhibited.
President of Rajputana Automotive Sports Car club (RASCC) Dayanidhi Kaasliwal said that the club appreciates the constant support and motivation of the state tourism department for the event.
