Alwar: Charred boy of another Dalit teenager found in an under-construction flat in Bhiwadi

Jaipur: The body of a Dalit youth was found in an under-construction apartment building in Bhiwadi town of Alwar district on Monday evening. The body had been put on fire. The victim was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
According to preliminary reports, the deceased, Ajay , was the friend of 16-year-old Neeraj Jatav who had been murdered over a petty dispute while playing Holi on March 2. The latest murder has infuriated the Dalit community in Alwar. Many people gathered at the mortuary of the hospital where the body was kept and demonstrated against the police and administration. There were speculations if the two murders are linked; however, the police didn’t confirm this.
The police control room in Alwar received information about a fire in an under-construction building in the afternoon. A team lead by an ASI was rushed to the spot. The team found a charred body. The body was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The body couldn’t be identified immediately. Some people later identified the victim as Ajay.
Neeraj Jatav had been murdered following a dispute over playing DJ on Holi. Neeraj and Ajay were good friends, according to their family members. Neeraj used to work at a garment shop after school hours. Ajay also worked at a shop in the same neighborhood. Ajay had four siblings and was the youngest. A postmortem examination was being conducted till the reports last came in.
