Actor-turned MP Ravi Kishan offers prayers at Jharkhand Mahadev temple in Jaipur

Jaipur: Actor and MP Ravi Kishan visited Jharkhand Mahadev temple located near Vaishali Nagar area of the city for special Mahashivaratri darshan.
Ravi Kishan said that he prayed for peace, prosperity and good fortune for everybody on this auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri.
The famous actor is a member of parliament from Gorakhpur constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He is currently camping in the city for the shooting of an upcoming web series.
Devotees were enthralled after they spotted the actor amidst them. The actor tweeted that he was happy to be in Jaipur getting a chance to seek blessings.
Mahashivaratri is being celebrated across the city with many people making a visiting temples. Proper masks and social distancing has been made compulsory for devotee at all major temples.
Since morning, devotees could be seen performing poojas at nearby temples and singing bhajans. Temple authorities in Jaipur enlisted the help of volunteers to enforce social distancing for safe darshans.
While some temples have put a curb on offering water and milk due to pandemic situation, other temples have allowed darshan and offering rituals with strict adherence to face masks, hand sanitisation and social distancing.
