Jaipur: Women in large numbers blocked the Tonk Road near Barkat Nagar in Jaipur as the district administration’s rescue teams failed to trace Ayush Garg who was swept away in Amanishah Nallah on Friday. As more than 24 hours have passed by, the patience of family members and neighbors was running thin. The video showing how Ayush tried to save himself went viral on social media channels. Watch the video below:

Update: Body of Ayush Garg found 7 days after he was swept away by Kartarpura Nullah

22-year-old CA Ayush was a resident of Kisan Marg in Barkat Nagar. His father runs a grocery store. He swept away with his car in Amanishah Nallah near Kartarpura Industrial Area on Friday.

His family members, neighbors and local residents blocked Tonk Road, blaming administration and police for the delay in rescue.

He was swept away on Friday morning, but there was no trace of his body till Saturday afternoon.

The video shows how Ayush tried to save himself. As the car overturned in the water, he climbed on it. But the flow of water was so high that he could not keep the balance and fell into the drain.

Several teams of divers have been looking for the body, but to no avail. The car got stuck in bushes and was recovered a few hours after the incident. Senior district administration and police officers reached the spot to supervise the rescue operation.
