Woman tourist mowed down by city transport bus in Jaipur
The victim was a resident of Punjab and visiting Jaipur with her three sisters and their children.

JAIPUR: In a tragic mishap, a 37-year-old woman named Nisha Yadav lost her life after being hit by a low-floor bus at Ahinsa Circle at around 11.30 am on Sunday.
The victim had come to Jaipur with her three sisters and was about to sit in an e-rickshaw when the bus collided with her, causing her to fall on the road and her head to be run over by the bus tire, leading to her death on the spot.
After the accident, the police from the South police station reached SMS hospital with the victim’s body, which has now been kept in the mortuary for post-mortem to be done upon the arrival of her relatives.
The deceased has been identified as Nisha Yadav, wife of Dheeraj Yadav, and a resident of Abohar Punjab. The family had left the hotel in the morning to visit Jaipur when the incident took place. The low-floor bus involved in the accident has been seized, and an FIR has been registered against the driver.
SI Raj Kiran posted at the accident station said that the victim’s 11-year-old son, Rocky, was also present at the scene when the incident took place. Rocky was the first to witness his mother’s fall and called for help.
