Come April 11 and the cricket extravaganza in Jaipur will begin, after a wait of almost two years. The first Indian Premier League (IPL) match will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils at SMS Stadium in Jaipur on April 11.
Many Jaipurites told The PinkCity Post
that the wait of two months for the first match would be difficult to stand.
“We have been waiting for the matches in Jaipur for almost two years. Now we have to wait two more months. But the thing is we will finally get to watch Rajasthan Royals in action and this is just great,” said Sumit Rajpurohit, a resident of Sodala.

Rajeev Khanna, vice president of Rajasthan Royals, said the matches are finally happening in Jaipur and it is great news for cricket lovers of the city.
Following the BCCI ban, the matches were not happening in Jaipur for the past two years.
