Jaipur: Two men died on the spot after a speedy Scorpio car collided with their bike on Thursday morning. Angered by this, locals set the Scorpio car on fire. The incident happened near Mahatma Gandhi hospital in Sitapura area in Jaipur. Police with fire operators rushed to the spot and seized the vehicles.
According to the locals, one speedy Scorpio car collided with a bike near Mahatma Gandhi Hospital on Thursday morning. The two men who were riding on the bike died on the spot. The driver of the Scorpio somehow managed to flee from the spot.
Locals gathered on the spot after the incident. Angered by the situation and death of the two, they burnt the Scorpio car.
The Police were informed about the incident and rushed to the spot. Police are yet to identify the victims.
Heavy police force has been deployed in the area to maintain law and order. An FIR has been registered for rash and negligent driving.
The bodies of the victims have been put in the mortuary of a hospital for a post-mortem examination which will be conducted once the family members are contacted.
