2 Delhi girls ‘kidnapped’ in Sikar by SUV-borne criminals

Jaipur: Two of the five girls who came to Sikar from Delhi on a visit were allegedly kidnapped late on Monday by SUV-borne criminals. The police launched a massive search for the girls when the their three friends approached police and informed them about the alleged kidnap.
One of the girls – a resident of Uttam Nagar told media persons that she and her four friends had come to Delhi on a personal visit. They had dinner at a hotel in the Depot area on Monday night and then waiting for a bus when some youths in an SUV offered to drop them at Jaipur.
The youths forced three of the five girls out of the vehicle at Gokulpura Tiraha and took the remaining two with them. Once they drove way, the girls reached the police station and informed about the kidnap. The police put up barricades at all the exit routes of the city, but the kidnappers couldn’t be traced till the reports last came in.
The two girls who were kidnapped can’t speak Hindi. “It has come up during preliminary investigation that the girls are from West Bengal. Further investigation is going on,” said a police officer.
