106 new COVID-19 cases reported in Rajasthan; 23 in Jaipur

Jaipur: Udaipur has become the new hotspot for COVID-19 in Rajasthan. Of the total 106 cases reported on Sunday, 30 were from Udaipur. Jaipur reported 23 cases followed by Kota (17), Jodhpur (11), Ajmer (9), Tonk (4), Nagaur (3), Baran and Pali (2 each), and Rajsmand, Sirohi, Jalore, Bikaner and Dungarpur (1 each). The total case count has gone up to 3814 in Rajasthan. With two more deaths, the death tool has reached 108.

Jaipur has crossed the 1200 mark with 23 new cases reported in different areas of the city.

 The fact that nearly 40 vegetable venders and shopkeepers have tested positive in the city have left the administration worried. For the first time, a dairy booth operator tested positive. The virus has spread to 31 districts in the state with the highest number of cases reported in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Tonk, Chittorgarh, Nagaur, Udaipur and Bharatpur. Of the total 108 deaths 59 were reported in Jaipur.

Nearly 300 labourers have been left stranded in Bharatpur on the Rajasthan-Uttar Pradesh border with the UP administration not allowing labourers from other states (except) Bharatpur to enter. The labours from Uttar are being allowed to enter after an ID verification.
