10 members of family die in Jhunjhunu road accident

Jaipur: Ten members of a family were killed, while eight others were injured when the pick-up truck they were travelling in collided with a stationed tractor in Jhunjhunu district on Tuesday. Those who died include two teenagers and two women. The injured people rushed to BDK Hospital in Jhunjhunu where they are undergoing treatment.
The accident occurred on Udaipurwati-Gudha Road near Lilo Ki Dhani in the Gudhagorji area in the district. The victims belonged to a village named Ahir ki Dhani. They had gone to had gone to Lohargal to perform final rituals after the death of a family member. They were returning home when the mishap took place. There were 18 people in the vehicle.
Those who were killed were identified as, Kailash (35), Bhanwarlal (35), Sumer (50), Rajbala (35), Arpit (15), Manohar (50), Naresh (16) and Karmaveer (20), Balveer (40) and Savitri (45). Eight of them died on the spot, while two others succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment. Three victims were referred to a hospital in Jaipur due to their critical condition.
According to police, a family had died. After the completion of 14 days, the family members and relatives went to Lohargal to immerse the ashes. A tractor-trolley was parked on the side of the road between Leelan ki Dhani and Hukumpura. Their vehicle hit the tractor and overturned.
A police team rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
