The internal trial of Jaipur Metro from Chandpole to Chhothi Chaupar was successful. The metro ran at a speed of 10km/hr and the distance between these stations was covered in 10 minutes.

Six policeman booked in connection with death of elderly woman in Shivdaspura

Villagers registered a case against six police officials for allegedly running their police vehicle over the elderly woman. The woman was the mother of one of the accused, who was arrested by the police. When she tried to stop the police vehicle it ran over her. Whereas, the police officials in defense said that she died of the natural cause.

Jaipur discom allows consumers to pay electricity bills exceeding Rs 20K offline till December

According to the CMD of Jaipur Discom RG Gupta, the decision of accepting offline bills has been taken by keeping in mind problems being faced by consumers in making online payments for electricity bills exceeding Rs 20,000. The consumers will be able to pay power bills either online or offline till December 31.

The Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) launched feeder service for passengers on Wednesday. Around 50 e-rickshaws have been made available for passengers at Mansarovar and New Aatish Market metro stations in Jaipur.
