Yogesh Kumar appointed CM Bhajan Lal Sharma’s OSD, 4 IAS reshuffled

JAIPUR: Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has appointed RAS Yogesh Kumar Srivastava as his Officer on Special Duty (OSD). An order in this regard was issued by the Personnel Department on Saturday.
In addition, four IAS officers were reshuffled. Kuldeep Ranka, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Chairman of RIICO Jaipur, Gaurav Goyal, Secretary to the Chief Minister and Government Secretary of Information and Public Relations Department, Aarti Dogra, Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Rajan Vishal, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister and CEO of Rajasthan State Service Delivery War Room have been kept awaiting posting orders.
On Friday, T Ravikant from Medical Education Department was appointed as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. Anandi from Information Technology and Communication Department became the new Secretary to the Chief Minister. Soumya Jha from Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council (RGAVP) was appointed Joint Secretary on a temporary basis.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma took charge at his office in Secretariat amidst Vedic mantras chanting after performing puja on Friday afternoon. BJP State President CP Joshi, Union Minster Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, former CM Vasundhara Raje along with many MLAs and leaders were present during this eventful occasion. The newly-appointed CM fed sweets to Raje personally while she blessed him by placing her hand on his head.
After assuming office duties formally, CM Sharma held a meeting with his Principal Secretary T Ravikant and other officials where he provided instructions regarding their work responsibilities. He also visited Ganesh temple located at Secretariat premises for prayers
