Jaipur: Acclaimed writer Vishnupriya Singh, known for her captivating literary works, is set to receive a prestigious international accolade in Colombo. The award will be presented by Sri Lanka’s Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapakse at a special ceremony in the Sri Lankan Parliament, recognizing Singh’s exceptional writing skills and contributions to Bollywood.

Singh, who has garnered numerous awards in India, continues to be an inspiration through her compelling storytelling and dynamic characters. This international recognition highlights her growing influence and the universal appeal of her work.

Born on April 4, 2000, in Kanpur, Vishnupriya Singh began her journey as a writer at a young age. She attended Ramagya School in Noida and graduated in Mass Communication from Kashi Vidyapith University in Varanasi. Her education and passion for storytelling have significantly shaped her literary career.

Singh’s bibliography boasts several notable works, including “The Hundred Bucks,” “The Last Laugh of Leela,” and “Indrani.” Each of these books has captivated readers with their unique narratives and relatable characters. “The Hundred Bucks,” in particular, was adapted into a successful film that performed well in theaters and on OTT platforms, further cementing her reputation as a versatile writer
