LUCKNOW:<\/strong> The Uttar Pradesh government has appointed DIG Abdul Hameed as the head of the newly-formed Anti-narcotics task force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His name was in the transfer list of 15 IPS officers issued late on Monday night. Anti-Narcotics Task Force has also been constituted in Uttar Pradesh for the first time to tackle the growing menace of drug smuggling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DIG Abdul Hameed, who recently from a deputation posting, will head the task force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ravindra Kumar, a 2106-batch IPS officer has been posted as DCP in Police Commissionerate, Kanpur. He was earlier posted as Additional Superintendent of Police in Bareilly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twelve trainee IPS officers have also been transferred. All of them have been posted as Additional Superintendent of Police and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police. They were posted circle officer and assistant commissioner of police during their probation period. Assistant Superintendent of Police in Ghaziabad Abhijeet R Shankar has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lucknow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anil Kumar Yadav posted in Lucknow has been transferred to Noida. Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia posted in 11th Corps PAC Sitapur has been posted as Superintendent of Police in the establishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saad Mian of 2018 batch has been transferred from Bareilly to Noida, Ankita Sharma from Noida to Kanpur Municipal Police Commissionerate, Manish Kumar Shandilya from Aligarh to Varanasi Commissionerate, Abhishek Bharti from Prayagraj to Ghazipur, Rahul Bhati from Gorakhpur to Bareilly, Santosh Kumar Meena from Varanasi Prayagraj, Sandeep Kumar Meena from Mathura to Moradabad, Anirudh Kumar from Intelligence Headquarters Lucknow to Fatehpur and Lakhan Singh Yadav from Varanasi to Police Commissionerate, Kanpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
