This age group has a population of nearly 53 lakh in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most children in this age group are registering online for jabs. Those who don\u2019t have any identification documents such as Aadhar card, PAN card, ration card or school ID card are being allowed to get doses after showing their parents or siblings identification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A senior medical and health department officer said that the department is aiming to get all the people in this age group vaccinated as soon as possible. \u201cWe have an adequate supply of vaccines at the moment, so we are advising children to get themselves vaccinated at their nearest centre at the earliest possible. This will work as great protection against all variants of Covid-19 including Delta and Omicron. We hope that we will vaccinate all children by the end of this month,\u201d the officer said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The officer added that booster doses will be administered to health workers, frontline workers and seriously ill persons of age group above 60 years. He said that all adolescents in the age group of 15 to 18 years (children born in 2007 or earlier) can get the vaccine now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Raghuraj Singh, Project Director of Vaccination in Rajasthan said that 15.82 lakh doses of co-vaccine are available in stock. Their allotment has been done district-wise.
