The second wave of coronavirus hit the state after Holi in April. Experts fear that the increase in cases indicates the third wave might start soon in Rajasthan as the people flouted social distancing and other Covid-19 guidelines recklessly during Diwali celebrations. As many as 45 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Jaipur alone in just 13 days since November 1. The same number of cases were reported in 31 days in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jaipur has always been the first city in the state to report new cases before the virus spreads across the state. Weddings are being organized across the state on the occasion of Dev Uthani Ekadashi. People are travelling from one place to another to attend wedding functions. The Covid-19 guidelines are being flouted. Few people are seen wearing masks and following social distancing. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jaipur is also playing to a T-10 match at SMS Stadium on November 17. Over 30,000 people are expected to gather at the stadium to watch the match. People from several other states and districts within Rajasthan are also expected to arrive in Jaipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September, the state was reporting 2-3 cases per day on average. It has gone up to 5-6 per day in November. About 20,000 people are being currently tested for Covid-19 per day on average.
