The situation is grim to such an extent that many of these colleges don\u2019t even have permanent principals. The colleges have recruited principals on an ad hoc basis. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University has identified at least 50 such colleges. The colleges that don\u2019t have infrastructure as per parameters have been asked to improve the situation in the next three months, sources said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a shortage of 250 lecturers in 79 law colleges of Rajasthan. Earlier, the law colleges used to be affiliated with the respective university of their area, but now all the colleges are under Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University in Jaipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BA-LLB course has 15 semesters. Each college must have 15 qualified lecturers as per norms. Many colleges don\u2019t have qualified teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere has been a shortage of qualified teachers in colleges affiliated with the university. As per the BCI norms, we have asked these colleges to recruit teachers within 3 months and submit a report about this to the university. The classes will begin from November 1,\u201d said a university official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sources said that the colleges have been asked to comply with these instructions.
