The Covid-19 case count broke all records on Monday with more than 961 cases reported in 24 hours. The recovery rate has also come down in Rajasthan, causing a shortage of beds in hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Rajasthan, as many as 22,773 positive cases were reported from April 8 to April 12, but only 4393 were discharged after recovery. The recovery rate was 19.29%. In the first wave when the state report 16,271 cases between November 22 and November 26, the recovery rate was over 66%. Nearly 10,800 people recovered and discharged from hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drop in the recovery rate during the second wave will put hospitals under massive strain, experts say. This also demonstrates that the virus that is infecting people comparatively more dangerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many areas in Jaipur reported more than 20 cases in 24 hours. These areas include Adarsh Nagar, Ajmer Road, Banipark, Indira Gandhi Nagar, Jagatpura, Jawahar Nagar, Jhalana, Jhotwara, JLN Marg, Kiran Path, Malviya Nagar, Mansarovar, Patrakar Colony, Pratap Nagar, Vaishali Nagar and Vidhyadhar Nagar.
