The accused people used registration of 25 firms to show transportation of goods in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana to claim input tax credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rajendra Kumar, ADG DGGI, was quoted as saying that the main accused was 45-year-old Vishnu Garg. A probe was launched against his five firms including Vikas Trading Company, Shri Shyam Traders, Vinayak Associates and SP Enterprises. These five firms are based in Jaipur, while nearly 20 other firms Fake delivery challans were prepared by the accused persons. The four others were identified as CA Bhagawan Sahay Gupta, Mahendra Saini, Badrilal Saini and Pradeep Dayani. Pradeep is a resident of Hyderabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bogus challans in the name of over 200 firms showing transactions to the tune of Rs 1004.34 crore were prepared, an official said adding that the accused persons used these challans to claim an input tax credit of Rs 146 crore.
