State chief minister Ashok Gehlot said that the curfew and some other restrictions will be lifted in a phased manner. He said that the people will need to continue to follow COVID-19 guidelines and other health protocols as the danger of new variants of the virus is still looming large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief minister tweeted about lifting the night curfew in Jaipur and other 12 places after a COVID-19 review meeting on Monday. The meeting was held at the chief minister residence in Civil lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have decided to lift night curfew and offer some more relaxations imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, unless people follow necessary health protocols, the number of positive cases will start increasing again. In that case, we will need to impose restrictions,\u201d tweeted Gehlot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bars, restaurants, shops and other commercial establishments were allowed to remain open till 7 pm when the night curfew was in effect. The businesses were suffering huge revenue loss due to the restriction. Now, they will be no restrictions on the timing. Bars will be allowed to open till 11 pm as usual, said an administration officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The curfew was in effect from 8 pm to 6 am in 13 cities \u2013 Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Pali, Tonk, Sikar, Ajmer, Sriganganagar and Udaipur.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jaipur: The Rajasthan government on Monday has decided to lift night curfew imposed in 13 cities to contain the spread of COVID-19.
