Soni\u2019s appointment with the ACB has paved the way for ML Lathar to be the next Director General of Police (DGP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The office of DG, ACB fell vacant after ex-DG Alok Tripathi retired. DG Soni was earlier posted as DG, prisons. The 1988-batch officer hails from Jodhpur, the home constituency of chief minister Ashok Gehlot. He has held many important posts including ADG. He was the first police commissioner of Jaipur after the city implemented the commissionerate system in 2011. He was SP, ACB in 2002. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rajeev Dasot who was earlier posted DG, home security has replaced him in the latest IPS transfer list. Utkal Rajan Sahoo has been posted as DG, home security. Kalu Ram Rawat has been posted as SP, Dungarpur and Jai Yadav as SP, CID (CB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rajasthan government removed both the district collector and SP of Dungapur after the recent violence and unrest over teachers\u2019 recruitment issue. Dungarpur district collector Kanaram was removed and has now been posted as joint CEO of State Heath Insurance Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other IAS officers who were transferred include Arpana Arora, Roli Singh, Hemant Kumar Gera, Vikas Sitaramji Bhale, Manju Rajpal, Siddharth Mahajan, P.
