Judge Sharma had awarded death penalty to 2008 Jaipur bomb blast terror suspects, in a landmark judgement shortly before he retired. He said that the terror groups could attack his family in an act of revenge. Judge Sharma has written a letter to DGP Rajasthan Bhupendra Singh to step up security arrangements at his house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the letter, he stated that suspicious people are seen outside his house often. Unknown people threw liquor bottles at his house and clicked photographs of his family members. In the letter, he made a reference to Neelkanth Ganju who was killed for awarding capital punishment to terror suspect Maqbool Bhatt in 1984.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharma stated that he was not financially capable to hire a private security guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is the responsibility of the state government to provide security to me and my family,\u201d stated Sharma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December last year, the special Jaipur bomb blast cases court awarded capital punishment to the four terrorists convicted in the 2008 Jaipur serial bomb blasts cases. The court termed the crime heinous and a war against the national and said that it called for the stringent punishment under the IPC sections the convicts were charged with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The court of judge Ajay Kumar Sharma had convicted four of the five terror suspects, while acquitted one on Wednesday.
