Jaipur: Amid the Coronavirus outbreak, 277 Indian nationals who were stranded in Iran were airlifted and brought to Jodhpur in two Air India flights on Wednesday. They have been lodged in a quarantine centre. All of them are being screened for Coronavirus and will be kept in the centre for 14-28 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The flight arrived at Jodhpur Airport at 6.30 am on Wednesday.\nThe Army\u2019s Wellness Centre where these Indian nationals have been quarantined\ncan accommodate 500 people. This is the first lot of Indian nationals brought to\nJodhpur from Iran. Earlier, another group of Indian nationals had been brought\nto Jaisalmer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the administration and police imposed the\nlockdown strictly throughout the state on Wednesday. Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) has formed\n120 teams to sanitize public places in different wards. Fire fighting vehicles\nare being used to sanitize public places with Sodium Hypochlorite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police put barricades through the city in Jaipur and\nstopped people who ventured out of their homes despite the lockdown. Police officials\nalso distributed food packets in their jurisdictional area.
