Jaipur: Coronavirus is spreading in the state despite the government\u2019s efforts to contain the virus. Seven new Coronavirus cases came to fore on Saturday \u2013 five in Bhilwara and one each in Jaipur and Sikar. All the five who tested positive in Bhilwara were members of the hospital staff where three doctors and three male nurses were earlier found infected with the virus. The total number of Coronavirus cases has reached to 24 in Rajasthan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The administration has clamped curfew in Bhilwara. The\npolice used force on people who ventured out of their homes in the town. No one\nwas allowed on the streets. The markets bore a deserted look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNearly 400 beds have been provisioned in isolation centres at\n13 different places in the town,\u201d said an officer. There is panic in the town\nafter it came up that nearly 6000 people visited the hospital where six people\nincluding 3 doctors tested positive for Coronavirus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
An elderly man who recently returned from Dubai tested\npositive in Sikar. He and his family members have been quarantined. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, former chief minister Vasundhara Raje and her son\nDushyant Singh tested negative for the virus. They were in self-quarantine\nafter it came up that they had attended a party with Bollywood singer Kanika\nKapoor. Kanika tested positive for the virus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The report on the tests came out on Sunday. Both Raje and\nDushyant Singh tested negative. FIRs have been registered against Kanika Kapoor.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raje said that she would continue to be in self-isolation\nfor two more weeks as a precautionary measure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The people in Jaipur stayed home and avoided venturing out\non Saturday. All the markets remained closed after local traders associations declared\na shutdown. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
